Before you start

Check that you have the following ready.
  • Claude or Codex is connected to Sanka
  • Customers, contacts, and basic deal records are available in Sanka
  • You have permission to review, create, and update deals
  • Your team has rules for stages, probability, and next actions
If you have not connected an AI agent yet, start with Claude setup or Codex setup.

1. Ask AI to review open deals

Open a new chat in Claude or Codex and ask it to review open deals first.
Sample prompt
/sanka Review open deals and list records that are missing amount, probability, stage, owner, or next action. Do not update anything yet.

Reviewing deals in SankaOpen deals have been reviewed. I grouped deals with missing next actions, stale probability, and owner review needs. Nothing has been updated yet.
Ask a follow-up...
Start with a review list before updating records. Check:
  • Deal name, customer, and owner
  • Amount, probability, and expected close date
  • Whether the stage matches the real situation
  • Next action and due date
  • Whether lost reason or competitor context should be captured

2. Find stalled deals

Next, ask the AI to identify deals that have not moved recently.
Sample prompt
/sanka Find deals with no activity for more than 7 days and group follow-up candidates by owner. Let me review them before creating tasks.
After the AI lists candidates, review the owner, customer context, and suggested follow-up. If everything looks correct, create follow-up tasks.

3. Update stage and probability

When deal status changes, update stage and probability. Ask the AI to propose changes before applying them.
Sample prompt
/sanka Based on recent activity history, suggest deals whose stage or probability should be updated. Show the reason for each suggested change.
Review:
  • Whether the stage change has a clear reason
  • Whether probability is too high or too low
  • Whether amount, expected close date, or owner also needs an update
  • Whether large changes should go through review

4. Move ready deals into quoting

When the customer, items, amount, and terms are ready, move into quote creation. See Quote creation and sending for quote drafts and approval checks.
