Get Started with Sanka in Cursor

This guide explains how to connect Sanka in Cursor and start practical CRM operations.
Preparation
- Sanka account access to your workspace
- Cursor environment ready
- A short validation list (company names, contacts, domains)
Connect in Cursor
You can use this flow even while Cursor Marketplace approval is pending.Option 1: Manually place the plugin (recommended)
- Download the plugin from sankaHQ/sanka-plugin (Release ZIP or clone).
- In Finder, open your home folder and place it under
.cursor/plugins/sanka-plugin. - Restart Cursor.
- Open
Cursor > Settings > Pluginsand confirm the Sanka plugin is enabled. - Follow the plugin prompt to finish authentication, then run a connection test.
Make this easy for sales reps
- Prepare one internal distribution ZIP (with the
sanka-pluginfolder included) - Share a one-page setup note that only explains where to copy the folder (
.cursor/plugins/) - Have an admin join the first setup and finish connection validation together
- Keep MCP/API/SDK setup in developer-only docs, separate from sales onboarding
