Get Started with Sanka in Codex

Install the Sanka plugin in Codex, complete sign-in, and run your first company lookup.

This guide walks you through the standard Codex setup for Sanka. Download the packaged installer, enable the plugin in Codex, complete OAuth, and confirm your first CRM lookup. No manual config-file editing is required for the normal user setup. Download Sanka Plugin

Preparation

  • Access to the Sanka workspace you want to connect
  • Signed in to Codex
  • A computer that can download and extract ZIP files

Download the installer

  1. Click Download Sanka Plugin.
  2. Save Sanka-Plugin.zip to your computer.
  3. Extract the ZIP.
  4. Open the Codex folder inside the extracted files.

Use the release download from this page. Do not use GitHub's generic repository ZIP or source-code ZIP, because those do not contain the packaged Codex installer flow.

Run the installer

  1. In the extracted Codex folder, run the installer for your operating system.
  2. When the installer finishes, restart Codex.

Files to run by OS:
  • macOS: Install Sanka Plugin.app
  • Windows: Install Sanka Plugin.bat

Enable the plugin

  1. Open Codex and go to Plugins.
  2. Choose Personal Plugins.
  3. Find Sanka Plugin and click Install or +.
  4. Codex opens the browser for Sanka sign-in and consent.
  5. Choose the workspace you want to connect and approve access.
  6. Return to Codex after the authorization completes.

The packaged Codex plugin already includes everything needed for the standard Sanka connection flow. End users do not need to edit config files.

Run your first check

Start with a simple read-only prompt to confirm the connection:
  • "Show the 10 most recent companies in Sanka."
  • "Give me the top 10 companies in Sanka."
  • "Find contacts at Acme Inc."
Today, the packaged Codex plugin is focused on read-only company and contact lookups. We are actively expanding the available scopes over time.
