β€’ Object: a database for managing a specific business area. Module: a group of objects combined for a business process.

Workspace

A workspace in Sanka is your team-level account environment.
By assigning user accounts to a workspace, you can manage permissions efficiently across the team.
Billing, data volume, and system logs are managed per workspace.
What you can do in a workspace
  • Configure currency, timezone, and data display settings
  • Invite team members and manage permissions/groups
  • Add or remove required modules and related objects

Objects

An object is a database used to manage a specific business process.
For example, product data belongs in the Product object, and order data belongs in the Order object.
For a complete list, see Object List.

Modules

Modules are groups of objects that represent business workflows.
By combining objects through modules, you can build processes from team-specific operations to company-wide workflows.

Properties

A property is a data field inside an object, such as Product Name, Product Description, or Sales Price.
If you use spreadsheets, properties are equivalent to columns.

Records

A record is an individual data entry within an object, such as Product A or Product B.
In spreadsheet terms, records are rows.

Tools

Sanka provides native tools to input, analyze, and automate records.
  • Workflow: Automatically update/create records based on trigger conditions. See Workflow.
  • Messages: Keep object-related communication in one place and reduce handoff gaps. See Messages.
  • Reports: Aggregate, filter, and visualize object data in real time. See Report.
  • Dashboard: Combine multiple reports and monitor KPIs by team or role in one screen. See Dashboard.

Integrations

With integrations to external services and internal systems, Sanka helps keep object data fresh and expands what you can automate.
  • Use standard integrations: Check available apps/tools in Integrations, then connect from the workspace Integrations menu.
  • Extend via API: If there is no dedicated connector, use the API Guide to implement integrations for your required data fields.
  • Combine with automation: Integrated data can be connected with workflows and reports for end-to-end operations, from notifications and auto-updates to monitoring.
